Chase County now has two graduates who are in the top 10 for University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) for the indoor mile.

With just five wrestlers competing, the Chase County Longhorns finished 11th in the 21-team field at the Chadron Invitational last Friday and Saturday.
While a third place finish was two places above their seeding, the Lady Longhorns and coaches have to wonder if they might have done better.
The Longhorn boys’ varsity team now sit 11-3 on the season after a loss and a win in the SPVA tournament last week.
Chase County went into the tournament as the No. 1 seed.
