Athletes, fans turn out for home meet
Tuesday’s perfect track weather brought out fans from the community and school to take in Chase County’s meet. It was the first good weather day for a meet since the season opened, coaches said.

It was a banner day for Longhorn track athletes as they easily won both the boys’ and girls divisions at their home meet in Imperial Tuesday.
Weather continues to rear its ugly head, cancelling another meet for Chase County last weekend.
Despite weather changing the Longhorn track schedule again, Chase County was able to get a meet in, coming away with multiple gold medals.
The Chase County Schools (CCS) junior high boys’ track team traveled to a rescheduled meet at Perkins County last week.
