Junior high track teams gear up for track opener
Seventh and eighth graders at Chase County Schools have been practicing for a couple weeks, preparing for their track season opener April 5 in Benkelman hosted by Dundy Co. Stratton.

Leaderboard tightens in bracketology contest
The leaderboard in this year’s Imperial Republican bracketology contest for the NCAA basketball tournament tightened up going into Final Four this weekend.
The 2018 Lady Longhorn track team opens its season today (Thursday) at a four-team meet in Grant. Lady Longhorns ready for opener with tons of talent back this year
There was no discussion of a possible state championship three-peat, but Lady Longhorn Track Coach Troy Hauxwell has another team this season with loads of talent.

Large boys’ track team kicks off season this week

Longhorn golf team 12 strong this season
Twelve golfers are out for this year’s season which begins April 3 with the Dundy County Stratton invite at the Benkelman Golf Club.
