Lady Longhorns head to subdistricts as top seed

   The official bracket won’t be posted online until today (Thursday), but the Chase County girls are assured the top seed in next week’s C1-11 subdistrict basketball tournament in North Platte.

Longhorns second to Oberlin at Southwest Tourney

   In the last meet before districts in Valentine, Chase County traveled to Bartley Saturday for the Southwest Tournament.

Longhorns get much-needed win

    Chase County’s boys got a much-needed win on their home floor Friday, closing out a persistent North Platte St. Pat’s team 61-52.
