In the last meet before districts in Valentine, Chase County traveled to Bartley Saturday for the Southwest Tournament.
Members of the JV girls’ basketball team can boast of an undefeated 15-0 record in the 2016-17 season. A pair of wins last week over Wray, Colo., and North Platte St.
Chase County’s junior high boys’ team won two of three games at Dundy Co. Stratton last Thursday. And, in the only loss of the day, the Shorthorn C team lost by just a point.
Chase County’s boys got a much-needed win on their home floor Friday, closing out a persistent North Platte St. Pat’s team 61-52.
