Record grows to 8-2 for JV girls
A pair of wins last week jumped the JV girls record to 8-2 as they face an idle week due to the varsity SPVA Conference tournament.

The Longhorn JV boys’ team had a light week last week.
Due to low numbers from Perkins County, there was no JV game played last Thursday.

Wrestlers face stiff competition
While the team as a group didn’t rack up a lot of wins Saturday, younger members of the teams earned some valuable mat time.

It was going to happen sometime this Chase County basketball season.
Just when senior Mallie McNair would set the girls’ career scoring record was all that was in question.

Lady Longhorns move to No. 8 in NSAA points
Despite a disappointing loss at Dundy Co. Stratton (DCS) last week, the Chase County girls are 7-2 on the season, and moved up to No. 8 in the Class C1 NSAA point standings.
