Imperial native Jay Wood has left another mark on the world of sports.
Wood recently won gold at the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (IBJJF) No Gi World Championships in California.

With three games already under their belts, the Chase County junior high girls’ basketball team is taking a Christmas break ahead of resuming action in early Jan. 9 when they travel to Dundy Co.
JV wrestlers competed at the McCook Open Invitational last Thursday.
All six wrestlers entered placed in their weight classes.
