Former Chase County Schools wrestling standout Eli Hinojosa, now a redshirt freshman at Chadron State College, won the heavyweight title at the Doane Open Wrestling Tournament last Saturday.
The Longhorn JV boys’ basketball team remains undefeated in their first two contests against Cozad and Wauneta-Palisade last week.
Chase County’s JV girls picked up two wins in its opening season play last week, one on the road and one at home.
