Record grows to 8-2 for JV girls

    A pair of wins last week jumped the JV girls record to 8-2 as they face an idle week due to the varsity SPVA Conference tournament.
    Last week the JVs picked up wins on the road against So. Valley and Perkins County. Chase County’s C team also won a game at Perkins County.
    On Jan. 14, the JVs traveled to McCook where they played So. Valley in a three-quarter game, returning with a 42-17 win.
    Scoring for the Chase County JVs were Morgan Peterson 17, Giselle Acuna 11, Lucy Spady 7, Hope Brosius 2, McKenzie Vogt 2, Joee Clevenger 2 and Liz Reeves 1.

    Chase County dominated in a 55-25 win at Perkins County last Thursday.
    On the board for Chase County were Acuna 16, Peterson 11, Spady 11, Brosius 6, Molly Spicer 6, Reeves 3 and Kambree Meeske 2.

    The Lady Longhorn C team remained undefeated at 3-0 after taking a 32-17 win at Perkins County last week.
    Scoring for Chase County were Spady 11, Acuna 9, Brosius 6, Meeske 2, Reeves 2 and Ali McNair 2.
