Western Nebraska teams headed to the state volleyball tournament are few and far between, but two of them on Chase County’s schedule won their district games to advance.
The Lady Longhorn softball team held its end-of-year banquet Monday night, where the honorary captain and unsung hero were named.
The captain was voted on by her teammates.
