Both Chase County Schools (CCS) show choirs received gold ratings at the rescheduled Nebraska Choral Directors Association (NCDA) festival last week.
CCS sophomore Tegan Towns gave another medal-worthy speech performance, this time at the SPVA Conference meet.
Monday in Kimball, Towns and senior Karsen Klooz both competed in poetry.
LB 399 would require eighth grade and 11th grade students to complete a 100-question civics exam.
CCS music teacher Randy Hayes was able to reschedule the Nebraska Choral Director’s Association (NCDA) Show Choir Festival for next week.
