CCS juniors prep for statewide ACT
Chase County Schools (CCS) is doing all it can to help prepare its 50 juniors for next week’s statewide ACT.
That has included an ACT prep course this year, as well as encouragement to use the online ACT prep resources they can access, said 7-12 Principal Jon Lechtenberg.
Parents who check the school website often have been reminded of the upcoming April 2 ACT testing date, as well.
Lechtenberg said he might even develop his own online encouragement between now and Tuesday.
He told CCS board members at this month’s meeting that all juniors will take the test next week. If they are in school that day, they will take the test, he said.
This year marks the third year the Nebraska State Board of Education is using the ACT as its way to gather Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA) assessment for 11th graders.
