Team Hot Wheels had a big day at the Smokin’ on Broadway and Hear Nebraska event. Tyler Pribbeno, center, presented a giant $2,000 check for the skatepark project on behalf of ICFF, in addition to the announcement that the fund will match up to $15,000 in increments of $5,000. Determination from the Team Hot Wheels group continues to spark community support in reaching their dream of a skatepark in Imperial.
New events including an Iron Skillet cooking contest, life-sized games and live afternoon music made Saturday’s second annual Smokin’ on Broadway another hit.
Construction crews began digging basements for five new rental homes and one spec home on East 3rd Street in the Cornerstone Development.
