Carnival rides thrill fairgoers
The Heartland of America Carnival returned for another five days of entertainment at the Chase County Fair. Many area fairgoers took advantage of the mega ride opportunity, as 562 of the passes were sold this year allowing unlimited rides all five days, according to fair board member Jake Burke. There were also individual daily ride specials. Above, this night shot of the fairgrounds was taken Friday during the Foghat/Quiet Riot concert, but youngsters were also busy during the day on the rides.
