Garry Lee Krutsinger - December 08, 2011


Lifelong Dundy County resident, Garry Lee Krutsinger, was born in Benkelman, Neb., on March 13, 1942, to the late Bus and Lillian (Phifer) Krutsinger.
He passed away Nov. 22, 2011, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colo.
Since April Garry had resided in Sunset Manor in Brush, Colo.
Garry graduated from Parks High School in Parks, Neb. in 1960. He entered the US Army in 1961 serving with the 82nd Division of Fort Bragg, N.C. After being honorably discharged in 1964 he returned to the family ranch at Parks, Neb.
Garry loved the ranch land and was an excellent steward of the land. He was honored by the NRD Master Conservationist Award for southwest Nebraska in 2001.
Surviving Garry are his daughter, Stacy and son, Jake; sister, Marilyn (Byron) Hust of Imperial, Neb.; brother, Ron (Carol) Krutsinger of Norfolk, Neb. and sister, Judy Krutsinger of McCook, Neb.; as well as Aunt Louise Krutsinger of Papillion, Neb.; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
