S.C.O.R.E. camp registration open now, filling up fast

Science Camps Offer Rewarding Experiences (S.C.O.R.E.) is an esteemed program tailored for students in 1st to 6th grades, proudly organized by the Chase County Schools Education Foundation in collaboration with Chase County Schools (Imperial, NE). S.C.O.R.E. is meticulously designed to provide enriching and captivating programs that inspire young scientists through hands-on experiences in various Chase County settings. Participants are immersed in this day camp, engaging in 8 40-minute sessions along with participating in large group assemblies. The curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to spark curiosity and foster ongoing learning across diverse scientific disciplines.
S.C.O.R.E. 2024 presents its 20th and final camp with the theme “Science Vibes” from June 10-14 at Chase County Schools. The camp is open to students who have completed 1st-6th grades.
• 1st & 2nd graders will attend camp on June 10, 11, and 12, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. MT, meeting each day at Chase County Schools in Imperial.
• 3rd & 4th graders will attend camp on June 10, 11, and 12, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. MT, meeting each day at Chase County Schools in Imperial.
• 5th & 6th graders will attend camp on June 12, 13, and 14, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. MT, meeting each day at Chase County Schools in Imperial.
Campers will enjoy two days of small sessions with hands-on activities and experiments at Champion Lake or Swinging Bridge, taught by local and traveling instructors covering a range of science topics.
All campers will have the opportunity to attend large shows on Wednesday at Chase County Schools, featuring demonstrations from Yo-Yo Legend, Doktor Kaboom, the Paper Airplane Guy, and the Exploration Place.
Registration for S.C.O.R.E. is now open. It is encouraged to register and pay by credit card at www.SCOREcamp.com (http://www.scorecamp.com).  Space is limited. The cost for camp is $125 per student, which includes a camp shirt, water bottle, and personal insulated cooler.
