Bill Silvester - February 03, 2011

Bill Silvester, longtime resident of the Champion, Neb., area passed away Monday afternoon, Jan. 31, 2011, at the Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial, Neb. He was 87 years of age.
Survivors include son, Kent and wife, Sandy, of Imperial, Neb.; son, Kim and wife, Lois, of Champion, Neb.; daughter, Kaylene Silvester, of Watkins, Colo.; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Mark Silvester and wife, Lois, of Schuyler, Neb.; sister, Bert McDougal of Denver, Colo.; sister, Bea Bauerle and husband, Don, of Champion, Neb.; sister, Emma Enoch and husband, John, of Miltonville, Kan.
Funeral services for Bill Silvester will be held Saturday morning, Feb. 5, 2011, 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Imperial, with Pastor Fred Andersen officiating.
Interment will follow at Crete Cemetery, Champion, Neb.
Visitation will be held Friday afternoon, Feb. 4, 2011, 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home in Imperial.
A memorial has been established to the VFW Post # 4688, Imperial, Neb.
