Deanna Osthus - February 18, 2010
Deanna Lee Osthus was born July 13, 1954, in Denver, Colo., to George and Endia (Waterman) Denny.
As a young girl she grew up and attended school in Denver including East High School.
Deanna married Patrick Lee Osthus on Nov. 7, 1981, in Denver, Colo., and to this union two children were born: daughter, Aja, and son, Cole.
The couple first settled in Vernal, Utah, where the children were born. They then moved to Colorado before making Imperial, Neb., their home in 1995.
Deanna was co-owner and operator of Home Menders with husband, Pat, for many years. She enjoyed attending auctions, being involved with family and friends, camping and spoiling her grandson, Keenan.
Deanna passed away on Thursday morning, Feb. 11, 2010, at her home in Imperial. She was 55 years of age.
Survivors include, husband, Pat of Imperial; daughter, Aja Osthus of Imperial, Neb.; son, Cole Osthus of Imperial, Neb.; grandson, Keenan Cole of Imperial, Neb.; brothers, Bill Denny of Denver, Colo. and Ed Denny of Berthoud, Colo.; sisters, Patricia Glantz and husband, Dick, of Lakewood, Colo. and Carol Anderson of Denver, Colo.
Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, George and Endia; and one, sister-in-Law, Arden Denny.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at the Imperial Eagles Club in Imperial, NE, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
A memorial has been established in Deanna’s memory.
