Teams clash in Imperial-only Pee Wee game PDF Print E-mail

Imperial’s two Pee Wee baseball teams met in an Imperial-only game Monday night at Schroeder Park.
The younger Imperial Black team overcame Orange in an 11-7 contest.
Imperial Black combined for nine hits in their five at-bats, led by Mikael Kuhlmann’s double and single.
Other Imperial Black hitters were Trevor Peterson and Bennett Bauerle, each with two singles; and a single each from Mason Nordhausen, Hayden Bahler and Chance Lotspeich.
Peterson went four innings on the mound, while Bauerle completed the final inning. They combined for two walks, six strikeouts and allowed seven hits.
For Imperial Orange, Parker Dillan was on the mound, and stuck out three while walking eight.
Kadin Vrbas led the Orange bats with two doubles and a triple while scoring three times.
Games this week for Imperial Black include a road trip to Ogallala Orange on Wednesday this week. Friday they will conclude the regular season when they host Ogallala White.
The Pee Wee tournament starts July 15 in Wallace.
