Area farmers and ranchers who want to see what technology can do for their operations should plan to attend the Imperial Chamber’s Ag Technology Fair in Imperial Thursday, Jan. 15.
The expo will be held at the Imperial city gym from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include a meal.
The free event is being sponsored by the Imperial Chamber’s ag committee.
Clint Johnson, Chamber president and chair of the Chamber’s ag committee, said the fair allows farmers and ranchers to become informed on cutting-edge information and technology to aid their operations, Johnson said.
The fair also provides businesses with a venue to share technologies that will benefit the producer.
Johnson said the fair serves as a way for the Chamber to express their appreciation to the farming and ranching community for their support of Imperial Chamber businesses.
Businesses displaying at the fair include:
USDA—changes to Farm Bill; NE College of Technical Ag—100-head program; Chase 3000—new radio towers and equipment; Great Plains Communications; Curly Olney’s—Trimble RTK; Frenchman Valley Coop; Rural Crop Insurance Services; Alltel—communications in ag; Lindskov Ag; Sapp Bros.; 21st Century—Ag Management Solution systems; Pioneer Hi-Bred—Acre Max; Viaero; Monty Hanson—zone tillage/planter attachment.
