■ Editor’s note: This is one in a series of features that will spotlight businesses in Imperial. The community has a thriving business community, and all residents may not realize the extent of services and products local businesses provide. This feature will be a regular offering throughout the year and beyond, and will include those businesses with a commercial address located outside of the home. By Carolyn Lee The Imperial Republican If you’ve been picking up mud and dust during your December travels, Baywash Carwash can help you clean that vehicle. Purchased in September, 2007 by Bruce and Dianne Way of Northside Enterprises from Chad Leibbrandt and Steve Wallin, Baywash is a self service wash. Located at the corner of 16th and Broadway Streets, the wand wash includes a foam bug remover. An industrial vaccum is also available. The independently owned and operated car wash is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and takes credit and debit cards. It costs $2 for a certain number of minutes.
