Deer check in numbers down across Chase County, state

    Whether it be windy weather or a lack of big bucks, check in numbers are lower than normal in Chase County.

Winter sports practices begin at county’s schools

Monday marked the start of the winter sports seasons. Chase County has 15 girls and 24 boys out for basketball and 11 wrestlers.
