Enders Lake Golf Course golfers rallied late in the singles matches to snatch the Chase County Cup away from the Imperial Country Club team Saturday.

Wauneta-Palisade was dominant on both sides of the ball in its 54-14 win over South Platte Friday night. Offensively, Hunter Miner, left, hauled in three touchdown passes, including this first-quarter catch for 59 yards, and totaled 131 yards. On defense, Aidan Kennicutt, above, had two of the Broncos’ 11 tackles for loss, including this tackle on South Platte’s Quinten Koenen.
The Wauneta-Palisade football team put a check mark in the win column Friday night with a 54-14 drubbing of South Platte.
The Chase County volleyball team improved to 5-2 last week. The Longhorns’ only match came against Yuma (3-3) Sept. 7.
