School recognized for Pedal for Pat support

    Chase County Schools was recognized with a plaque for its strong support of one of its teachers, Mark Bottom, and his participation in Pedal for Pat this fall.

Cast practicing hard for one-act play contests

    Fine-tuning is underway for the Chase County Schools’ entry in next week’s SPVA Conference one-act play competition.

Youth essays express belief in patriotism

The VFW Post 4688 and Auxiliary once again sponsored a traditional pre-Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, ham and all the trimmings Sunday evening as a Veterans Day tribute.
