Elsie Alberta (Bischoff) Coone - July 30, 2009

Elsie Alberta (Bischoff) Coone was born Dec. 30, 1923, to William and Katie (Parde) Bischoff. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She attended Calvert and St. Paul’s elementary schools.
On Sept. 15, 1946, she married Art Coone in Oberlin, Kan. The couple lived in Bloomington, Ill. and Denver, Colo. before moving to Wauneta in 1956.
She was a beautician and had her own beauty shop in Wauneta for over 20 years.
Elsie was called to her eternal home Friday, July 24, 2009, at Heritage of Wauneta, Wauneta.
Her husband, Art Coone; parents; three sisters, Vera, Gladys and Clara and one brother, Raymond, preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughter, Janice, of Wauneta; and brother, Dale Bischoff and wife, Vi; brothers-in-law, Cliff Shackelford and William Jeffries; nieces, nephews and friends.
