Barbara June Cline - October 06, 2011


Barbara June Cline, age 72, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at the Glendive Medical Center, Extended Care Unit in Glendive, Mont.
Barbara was born on Sept. 11, 1939 in Imperial, Neb., a daughter of Lenord M. and Edith M. (Gifford) Peterson.
She was raised and educated in Imperial graduating from Imperial High School with the class of 1957.
After graduation, Barbara moved to Denver, Colo. where she attended Beauty School and received her Beautician’s License. She worked in Denver until 1963 when she moved to Mountain Home, Idaho, and roomed with her twin sister, Beverly.
She met the love of her life in Mountain Home, Harvey Cline, who was stationed at the United States Air Force Base there with a missile squadron.
Barbara and Harvey were united in marriage on June 21, 1970, in Imperial.
They moved to Glendive after their marriage where they remained. She worked as a Beautician at Your Beauty Shop for a few years before going to work at the Hair Station until her retirement in 2005.
Barbara was an avid reader, loved sewing and taking trips to Nebraska to visit family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lenord and Edith Peterson; one sister; and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey Cline of Glendive; sister-in-law, Roseline Peterson of Billings, Mont.; nieces, Janet Peterson (Les Hedgquist) of Red Lodge, Mont.; and Diane (Ervin) Hloth of Billings; and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at the United Methodist Church in Glendive with Pastor Ruth McKenzie officiating.
Interment will be held in the Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive.
