|New Officer in Charge at post office|

As of last Friday, there is a new Officer in Charge at the Imperial Post Office. Barbara (Barb) Prottsman will head the Imperial, Enders and Champion Post Offices until a new postmaster is hired.
Prottsman replaces Jerry Lines, who retired after 40 years with the U.S. Postal Service.
A Venango resident, Prottsman was postmaster there for 10 years before serving as postmaster in Cozad for three years.
She will be commuting to Imperial from Venango. Husband Marlon is a highway contractor in Grant and Venango.
As Officer in Charge, Prottsman supervises two rural carriers, a clerk, a PSE clerk and a substitute in Imperial, two postmaster replacements in Enders and two postmaster replacements, a route carrier and two substitute route carriers in Champion.
