Seatbelts were in use when a vehicle left the road and rolled 10 miles south of Imperial on Ave. 331, the junk yard road, on Saturday. All three persons in the vehicle escaped serious injury.
The accident occurred just before 11 a.m. one mile south of the Dundy County line, according to Chief Deputy Terry McCune of the Dundy County Sheriff’s Department.
He said Jennifer Limpham, 33, of North Platte, was driving the 2000 Chevy Tracker when it hit washboards and sand. Limpham lost control of the vehicle and it left the road, rolling.
The  owner of the vehicle, 50-year-old Barbara Spuhler of Lexington and Cydney Spady, 11, a Chase County Schools student, along with Limpham, were all transported by the Imperial EMS to the Chase County Community Hospital, where they were treated and released, according to Jane Talbot, Limpham’s mother.
Spuhler is Limpham’s aunt and Spady is Limpham’s daughter.
McCune said the vehicle was a total loss.
