Longhorns defeat Kimball 50-34 for second win

    Coming off a two-point loss to Dundy County Stratton (DCS) last Tuesday, the Chase County Longhorns got back in the win column with a 50-34 victory over Kimball Saturday.

Girls split contests with Dundy Co. Stratton, Kimball

    In their first two games of the 2018 portion of their scheduled, Chase County’s Lady Longhorns took a decisive win from Kimball, but lost to their neighbors from Dundy Co. Stratton.

Girls win Cabela’s opener, drop next two

    While they finished 1-2 at last week’s Cabela’s Holiday Shoot-out Basketball tourney, Lady Longhorn Coach Mark Bottom said they gained valuable experience.

Longhorn boys come up empty at Cabela’s Shoot-out

    After a slow start in the opening game of the Cabela’s Shoot-out, Chase County’s Longhorns played better in their next two games but still came away without a win in three starts.

Lady Longhorns tame Wauneta-Palisade

With good, balanced scoring, Chase County tamed the Lady Broncos of Wauneta-Palisade with a 14-point win Dec. 19.
