Girls win Cabela’s opener, drop next two

    While they finished 1-2 at last week’s Cabela’s Holiday Shoot-out Basketball tourney, Lady Longhorn Coach Mark Bottom said they gained valuable experience.

Longhorn boys come up empty at Cabela’s Shoot-out

    After a slow start in the opening game of the Cabela’s Shoot-out, Chase County’s Longhorns played better in their next two games but still came away without a win in three starts.

Lady Longhorns tame Wauneta-Palisade

With good, balanced scoring, Chase County tamed the Lady Broncos of Wauneta-Palisade with a 14-point win Dec. 19.

    The Chase County wrestlers traveled to Hershey, Dec. 19 to face the Panthers of Hershey and the Longhorns of Kimball.
