Saturday morning’s 5K at the Enders State Recreation Area’s 100th anniversary celebration had extra meaning to it.
Each of Imperial’s three peewee team played at least two games last week.
League games included matchups with Sutherland, Wallace, Paxton, Hershey and Grant.
Eighteen Wauneta-Palisade and 30 Chase County athletes took part in the Ed Fye Track Camp June 3 in Imperial.
Joe Johnston, Jon Johnston and Brad Cochran claimed the crown at this year’s Frenchman Valley Mutual Aid Fire District Tournament’s three-man scramble at Enders Lake Golf Course.
