Cast practicing hard for one-act play contests

    Fine-tuning is underway for the Chase County Schools’ entry in next week’s SPVA Conference one-act play competition.

Youth essays express belief in patriotism

The VFW Post 4688 and Auxiliary once again sponsored a traditional pre-Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, ham and all the trimmings Sunday evening as a Veterans Day tribute.

Pool, track complex now equipped with defibrillator

    With all of the people who use the pool and track/football complex, School Nurse Angie Paisley was concerned about potential health issues that could occur there.
