Alan Carman| The Imperial Republican At the Veterans Memorial in front of the Chase County Courthouse, there are some improvements taking place. Spady Construction was hired to build a structure to cover the kiosk portion of the memorial. Pivot Electric is in charge of the wiring and installation of the lights and Jason Kirkpatrick, of Kirkpatrick Masonry in Grant, is laying the brick columns on each of the four corners. The project is scheduled to be completed, along with a new kiosk, before memorial weekend. Pictured above are some of the workers and members of the Veterans Memorial Committee. CCS students head to Thedford, Stapleton rodeos

CCS students participated in rodeos in Thedford at the Thomas County Fairgrounds on Saturday May 18th and Stapleton at the Logan County Fairgrounds on Sunday May 19th.

On Friday, May 10, the 9th Street Singers gave their year end performance. Above, the 9th Street Singers show off some moves in their first of three songs. After they had finished, several students gave solo and duet performances.
