Chase County’s fair owns the reputation as one of the top county fairs in Nebraska and this year’s version did nothing to harm that.
A string of storms blew southeast from Lewellen to Wauneta Aug. 13 during the week of the Chase County Fair.
The big number of tickets sold early, leading up to the Josh Turner/Shenandoah concert at the Chase County Fair Saturday night, helped it to be one of the largest shows in recent years.
With a storm moving into the area last Friday at the Chase County Fair, The Rude Band, opener for Hairball shown at top, played for approximately 15 minutes before a short break.
