Attendees at the Chase County Historical Society’s annual banquet and meeting Sunday were entertained by the descriptions of the Battle of Massacre Canyon.
Police radios and a local business’ involvement in removing information on three of them led to a discussion, sometimes intense, at the Sept. 4 city council meeting.
The city’s 2019-20 budget hearing will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17, as part of the council’s regular meeting at 6 p.m.
