Chase County eSports team wins state title
After an undefeated winter season, Chase County High School’s eSports team emerged as champions of Overwatch 2 in the 3rd Division of the Nebraska Schools eSports Association.
After an undefeated winter season, Chase County High School’s eSports team emerged as champions of Overwatch 2 in the 3rd Division of the Nebraska Schools eSports Association.
The Chase County Board of Commissioners & Board of Equalization held its monthly meeting on Feb. 13.
For nearly 29 years, students at Chase County Schools have found a familiar face in the School Nurse’s office.

The winner could pick from an assortment of Dewalt tools, a flatiron gas grill or a locked mystery gun box with a mystery gun inside. All 11 hat owners stood at the front of the crowd and were eliminated one by one with a random chip draw. The last one standing was Cash Swanson. Swanson had no hesitation when asked which prize he wanted. He picked the mystery gun locked in the box. Alan Carman | The Imperial RepublicanAt this years Pheasants Forever Banquet, any youth who attended this year’s mentor hunt and wore the vest that was given to them at the hunt was entered to win a new shotgun from the organization. This year was stress free for Dietrich Pursley, at left. Pursley was the only one of the seven youth who attended the hunt and also attended the banquet, winning him this brand new shotgun.
