There were only six youngsters at the west playground area and with this being the youngest group of egg hunters, many lost interest long before all the eggs had been found. Towards the end of the hunt, the kids inside the ballpark fence were invited over to help finish finding the rest of the eggs in the playground.
Despite the temperature hovering right around the freezing mark, the city easter egg hunt was held on Saturday, March 23.
Fifty-two members from the Chase County FFA chapter will make their way to Lincoln April 3 for the 2024 State FFA Convention.

While waiting for customers to come Knox Einspahr tried trick shots by throwing the axes backwards.
This year’s 4-H Carnival was a success, earning approximately $2,000. The carnival was on March 24 in the Nutrien building, Chase County Fairgrounds.
