Youths compete in 4-H Presentations Contest PDF Print E-mail

Six 4-H’ers were awarded ribbons at the 2012 Southwest Four 4-H Presentations Contest held June 12 in Imperial.
Youths were required to prepare an original presentation using visuals such as posters, props, PowerPoint or multimedia technology.
Participants must be a 4-H age of 10 and receive a blue or purple ribbon to have the opportunity to represent their county at the Nebraska State Fair.  This year those eligible to compete at the Nebraska State Fair are Hayley Vitosh, Regan Gittlein, Brady Gittlein, Lauren Prior and Dawn Castle.
Results from the contest were as follows:
Senior presentation—Grand Champion, Hayley Vitosh; Reserve Champion, Regan Gittlein; Blue, Lauren Prior and Dawn Castle.
Junior presentation—Grand Champion, Brady Gittlein.
First time presentation—Blue, Morayah Cupp.
The Presentations Contest was sponsored by Imperial County Ford (First Time Presentation), Pinnacle Bank (Junior Presentation) and Adams Bank and Trust (Senior Presentation).
