Bryan Dannatt was elected for a third year to head the Imperial Volunteer Fire Department (IVFD) as its chief.
Dannatt was among a slate of 10 officers elected by the firefighters at their monthly business meeting Nov. 16. The Imperial city council affirmed the officer slate at its Dec. 14 meeting.
Others elected included Dan Robinson, first asst. chief; Doug Mitchell, second asst. chief; Brad Wheeler, first lieutenant; and Greg Koellner, second lieutenant.
Robinson, Wheeler and Koellner will also be serving third terms, while Mitchell will start a first term in his position.
Business officers elected included Brad Dillan, president; Ken Schilke, vice-president; Aaron Greene, secretary; Todd Burpo, treasurer; and Rob Browning, sergeant at arms.
All officers officially take office the first of January.
Previously the IVFD officers were elected in January, and took office in February after council approval. Dannatt said they moved up the voting a couple of months so the officers will serve during the full calendar year.
