It’s a repeat!

    Chase County’s 1600 meter girls relay team iced a second straight Class C state championship with a photo-finish victory Saturday.

Lady Longhorns ‘weather’ conditions in Omaha, finish strong again for state title

    This year wasn’t a nail-biting finish for the Chase County girls’ track team as they waited for Class C’s final team tallies at the state meet.

Williams, 3200-meter relay bring home state medals

    Chase County’s Longhorn boys came home from the Class C state track meet with medals in the high jump and the 3,200-meter relay.

IKEs Kids Fishing Day sees good attendance despite weather

    The Southwest Nebraska Chapter Izaak Walton League (IKEs) group saw good attendance Saturday for the annual Ron Berry Memorial Kids Fishing Day, despite the cold and rainy weather.
