All four fall sports teams starting August practices
Fields and courts in Imperial will get very busy next week as all four Longhorn fall sports teams start official practices on Monday.

Sr. Legions goes 1-2 in district tournament
Imperial’s Senior Legion team saw their season come to an end Sunday in their third game of the Class C Area 7 district tournament in Overton.
Imperial’s three Pony League baseball teams completed their 2017 seasons in the Tri-County Tournament played June 28 through July 2 in Paxton. All three of Imperial’s teams lost their opening games so were eliminated from further tournament play. Sutherland defeated Grant in the tournament finals to win the championship. Pony baseball teams finish ‘17 season
Sr. Legion baseball tournament begins Friday
Imperial’s Senior Legion baseball team will open play in the C7 area tournament in Overton on Friday.

Pee Wee All-Star team faces McCook in double-header
There were runs aplenty on Sunday, as an all-star team made up of Pee Wee baseball players from the Tri-County League defeated McCook in a pair of games in Imperial.
