Friday’s C1-8 district title game in Kearney has a bit of a deja vu to it.
The Longhorns took the win in the first game of subdistricts against Cozad Tuesday night, winning 59-38.
Chase County was seeded No. 1 in Class C1-11 and played No. 4 Cozad at Brady.
The Longhorns lost their final regular-season game at Sutherland Friday, 37-47.
“We just couldn’t really get anything to go,” Head Coach Chris Bartels said.
