CCS boys fall to top teams
No one can say the Chase County boys’ basketball team has had it easy this year. Out of the team’s 15 losses on the season, only two have come to teams’ with losing records.
No one can say the Chase County boys’ basketball team has had it easy this year. Out of the team’s 15 losses on the season, only two have come to teams’ with losing records.
The Chase County girls’ basketball team moved up one spot to 10th in the Class C1 point standings last week with wins over Yuma, Colorado and North Platte St. Pat’s.
The Wauneta-Palisade girls’ basketball team added wins over Medicine Valley and Sutherland last week and sits at 10th in the Class D2 point standings.
The Chase County girls’ basketball team rolled to wins over Haxtun, Colorado and Hershey last week.
After a close first half, CCS overwhelmed Haxtun in the second half Jan. 25.
Behind first place finishes from Thomas Reeves and Jaret Peterson and a string of third place wins, the Chase County wrestling squad placed second at Friday’s Medicine Valley Invite.
