Two different meets had two different goals for the Chase County girls’ track team last week.

The Chase County boys’ track team came off strong performances at the Best of the Midwest May 2 and went on to dominate the competition at the Dundy County Stratton Twilight Friday.

Mason Wallin clears 14’1” in the pole vault at the SPVA Championships. Wallin set a personal best and won the event by 12 inches.
After winning seven straight SPVA track team titles, the Chase County boys’ track team finished second last season to eventual Class D state champion North Platte St. Pat’s.
