Bright sunshine and warm weather greeted a large crowd of CCS students following their last day of school for the 2017-18 school year May 23.

Eighth grade science classes at Chase County Schools were challenged in an unusual way for their end-of-year project and final exam, said Jennifer Gonzalez, middle school science teacher.
K-4 students at Chase County Schools had a sunny day Monday for the end-of-year field day. Organized by P.E. teacher Jodie Schuller, about 250 students participated in 14 different stations.
A Chase County senior and his “most influential teacher” were honored recently by McCook Community College (MCC) as members of the college’s first ever Academic All-Star Team.
