Many years ago, either a musical or play presented by the Chase County Arts Council was a common and expected event during Chase County Fair week.
The Wauneta Harvest Festival committee has been busy planning this year’s community celebration, set for July 27 to 30.
Imperial’s first library officially opened July 23, 1927 in a room downtown. Cake and ice cream were served to celebrate the opening.
Fr. Bernard Lorenz was the guest of honor Sunday at a parish potluck dinner and reception as he completes 10 years of service in the Imperial area as the pastor at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
