University chancellor seeks input during local gathering
University of Nebraska Chancellor Ron Green visited with local civic, community and school leaders during a visit last Thursday during the Chase County Fair.

Five members of the Toft family were present at the Chase County Fair parade Saturday to accept this year’s Nebraska Pioneer Farm Family Award.

A rural Haigler family sustained injuries in an early Sunday evening rollover west of Champion that sent the driver to a Kearney hospital.

Katie Mutke is currently a medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha. She plans to graduate in 2020 and then begin her residency.
