Enders Lake Reservoir was the place to be this fourth of July weekend. With the fourth landing on a Friday, most people could enjoy a three day weekend at the lake and it showed. Beau Licking, of the Nebraska Game and Parks Dept., said he thought the body count was around 2000 visitors to Enders Lake for the weekend. Licking said all of the electrical hook-up camp sites were full and the primitive sights around the lake were about three quarters full. Overall, there were no emergencies and just the regular things to deal with, like people going to fast and not having park permits. Licking said he thought it was one of the busier holiday weekends the lake has seen for a while.
