C. C. 4-H, Open Class, Fair entry day, Monday, Aug 11

    The Chase County Fairgrounds will come to life Monday, with entry day for the 2025 Chase County Fair.
    All open class, 4-H and FFA entries will check in Monday, starting at 8:00 a.m. 4-H, FFA and Open Class static exhibits will be entered from 8-11 a.m., and 4-H and FFA judging will begin at 11:30 a.m. Open Class judging will start at 12:30 p.m.
    4-H and FFA livestock will also complete their weigh in and stalling on Monday. Swine, sheep and goats must be in place by 8:00 a.m. for weigh in and ultrasound.
    Market beef must be in place by 11:00 a.m., prior to weigh in and ultrasound. Exhibitors with more than one species should complete their swine, sheep and goat ultrasounds before starting their beef ultrasound.
    All livestock shows have been moved up one day. Tuesday, Aug. 12 will see the swine show begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the sheep and goat shows.
    Wed. Aug. 13, will be the beef show starting at 8:30 a.m. The 4-H and FFA Round Robin contest will be held Thursday Aug. 14 at 9:00 a.m.
    This years Livestock Auction will be held Thursday starting at 5:30 p.m. Important to note, all livestock will be released Friday morning at 7:00 a.m. Friday’s schedule also includes the 4-H Rocket Launch at 8:00 a.m., following barn cleanup.
    Open Class, 4-H and FFA exhibits will be released at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, Audust 17 with exhibit hall cleanup happening at 10:00 a.m.
    From Tuesday, Aug. 12 until Saturday, Aug. 16, of fair week, the exhibit buildi8ng will be open from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Projects wrapping up
    The 4-H Horse show began Thursday evening with in-hand and English riding events and will wrap up Saturday with the remaining riding events. Check in for Saturday’s contest begins at 7:30 a.m. and events begin at 8:00 a.m.
