Annual Pheasants Forever banquet, auction planned for this Saturday

    The 29th annual banquet and auction for Pheasants Forever will be held this Saturday at the new expo building on the Chase County fairgrounds.
    Social hour will start at 5 p.m.

Local couple visits Australia for irrigation education

Locals Dr. Bruce and Cheryl Curtis traveled to Australia this past December, but it wasn’t a typical tourist vacation.

Local producers win awards in UNL farm management contest

Two teams from the Upper Republican Natural Resources District earned top awards in the 2018 UNL-TAPS (University of Nebraska Lincoln Testing Ag Performance Solutions) program.
