Werner Construction of Hastings began milling Tuesday on the stretch of Hwy. 61 south of the Hwy. 23/61 junction east of Grant. The 11-mile project will continue south to the Perkins/Chase county line. Traffic will be maintained during the project which is slated for completion in December.
Work began Tuesday to prepare Hwy. 61 north of Imperial for new pavement. The 11-mile project will begin at the Hwy.
